In October 2014, vapezubehor it peaked as the 24th best-selling vaporwave album on Bandcamp. In 2014, Elzinga launched Hiraeth, which obtained reward from the vaporwave community. Palm Mall is the sixth studio album by Cat System Corp., the alias of Dutch digital musician Jornt Elzinga. In interviews, Elzinga acknowledged his favorite launch of the Cat System Corp. Reminiscences Missed, a collaboration album with a Cat System Corp. Music journalist Simon Chandler described Dutch artist Cat System Corp.'s 2014 album Palm Mall as being "perhaps the definitive mallsoft album".

Keith Rankin joined later in August that very same year in the co-creation of the primary mainline album 신세기 EVANGELIS with James Webster. The album consists of largely 1980s and nineties sourced samples layered over original beats, instrumentation and vocals.
