Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Choose models that permit users to select between different modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or carpets.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning robot mop and vacuum needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

The robot is simple to setup and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is smart it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin around obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic hoover refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest best rated robot vacuum vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
